Birthday Surprise

Just by looking at the title, you should be able to guess what this post will be all about. It happened one week ago and i should have posted it last week but i totally forgot. Felt like it passed by really quickly and i still feel like it was yesterday. 

So i just turned 18 this year and i am finally legal! I always thought that being 18 would make me feel old and different. But in actual fact, i feel nothing like that. It feels just like any year. Of cause, if i had the choice, i would want to remain 18 and just stay at that age. Since it will never happen, i think i shall just enjoy being 18. 

I can say that this year is different from any other year that i have celebrated my birthday. This year was special thanks to the bunch of annoying yet kind and amazing friends i met. I could not ask for a better bunch of burdens, they are so sweet. That day was really heartwarming and i was really surprised and touched. Even when they acted so suspiciously, i did not realise. How can i not notice? After looking at the table of gifts, i finally realized what they were planning. 

It was really sweet and i have to thank them so much for that. What made my day was the sincerity and effort they showed me. I have never had a birthday surprise like this before (from what i can remember) so i am really grateful for that. 

So glad that i got to meet them in the first year of my poly life and still stay with them till now. I really hope that we would stick together until we finally graduate. I will always remember 9 May 2014, the day our friendship started, the day we started our whatsapp group, the day we started our journey as a group of  supportive friends and the day our nonsense started. I just want them to know how grateful i am for being able to know them. 

Ps: there is another one that is not in this picture. I still remember the month that she say she would start taking photos together with us and i look forward to that day.

TERM BREAK

HELLO PRETTY LADIES AND HANDSOME GUYS! 

(GOSH I really suck at starting off a blog. )

MARCH. Even before we realize, we are already in 2015 and we are in the third month?! 

So this blog will be about what i did during the three months of 2015. Don't worry, i am not going to write every single thing i did. I don't have so much time for that and this blog will just take forever. You won't even bother to read it. Okay, so let's start before you get bored already. 

JANUARY. Just as boring as ever because i was preparing for my year end exams. That month was all about studying and going to school. Nothing much. MOVING ON

FEBUARY. Slightly better because we ended exams just before Chinese New Year so i was able to have a really good time, especially collecting "ANGPAOs" Everything was so fun and the 4 days just ended in a flash. I still have so many New Year goodies to eat. Mmmm... 

MARCH. All about korean dramas, anime, and going out. So much freedom because i was at home almost everyday doing nothing. My best friend then is always the laptop.

APRIL. 2 weeks left before school starts. Thought to myself that i have to spent the 2 weeks meaningfully. Of cause i did. Basically just did whatever i want and try to go out as often as possible, hoping that i will not regret. 

Mysteries and Sushi

Whaddup!! It's really feels like 10 years since i last posted a blog, OH MY GOSH. So this year is coming to an end soon..wait WHAT?! Seriously, i cannot believe how fast time flies..

So basically i started my first year as a poly student this year and it was great!! Lovely meeting new people and making friends. Now, i'm just chillin' cause it's holiday for us!! 

So yesterday, i had the most interesting day out with my cousins and aunt! This time, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with shopping or whatsoever. We went to play this game called The Escape Hunt. So basically, you will be in groups of max 5 - 6 and you will be locked in a room where your group have 1hr to solve the mystery and find the key to exit the room. It already sounds so fun as i write and it IS very fun!! If you are a fan of mysteries and would like to challenge yourself to mind-boggling games, you should definitely give this a shot!! The time given might seem too long for a game like this but trust me, when you are trying to solve the puzzles and stuffs, time is like running water. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know! 

 

HAHAHAHA so here's the picture we took after the game. It is really cute that we could dress ourselves like Sherlock Holmes and those props goes really well with the outfit. SO COOL

After that, we decided to have some dinner at Sushi Express!! It is famous because it is $1.50 per plate and they have desserts like brownies, cream puff, cheesecake, pudding etc. Indeed, the food is of great quality too! Those who have yet to try it, what are you waiting for?! By looking at the number of plates we took, you can tell how awesome the meal was. 

Yesterday was really a very fun and fulfilling day spent with them!

BAOC

Sup guys! How are you feeling right now? -
One word to summarise mine is ' tired '. Just ended an awesome 3 days at Ngee Ann Poly for orientation. Did so much shouting , cheering and running around. My throat and muscles are so sore! (Omg, i hate this.) Nevertherless, it was kinda worth it because i did enjoyed myself sooo muchhhh! Meeting a group of awesome and lovely people are the best! I am especially thankful to my SCs for making the group an interesting one. I cannot express how grateful i am to all the planners for BAOC 2014. They did a really great job in making this an amazing and successful one. Now that it's over, i kinda missed it. Missed those funny and epic moments we had in the subgroup. I sincerely hope that we will get to reunite one day again. This is definitely a good start as a freshman in my poly life. I really thought that this camp would just be a boring one but i was so wrong. It's the best! The moments we had during the camp will always follow me throughout my poly life..  Love all those people who make this possible. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Catching up

Goodmorning everyone! Time to get your body off your bed!
So what's up with me today? Nothing really, just decide to blog since i have nothing to do. Finally ended 3 months of work and i've been spending my time lazing around the house. This word ' bored ' just never gets old. But i got to catch up with my secondary friends yesterday! Spent like 2 years with them and still counting. They are simply awesome and i appreciate them so much!
Since shopping and playing is such a cliche, we went to ikea. Actually, we've started planning this trip before o'levels. Hahah, such memorable days.. So basically, we went there for the food. I swear, it's delicious! I highly recommand the meat ball and soup-of-the-day!

Mmmmm... tasty! 

 

I will definitely make another trip there! Haha. Then we spent our day roaming around the showrooms. Also, not forgetting, we took so many pictures.. The settings are really perfect for pictures. How can we miss out such good opportunity right?

That's about it! Basically, i've spent so much fun yesterday with those babes! Definitely would hang out some other days with them.

Finally...

Wow.. everything happens so fast. FINALLY, exams are over! Not very long ago, i was still thinking of how to cope with exam stress and now i'm here with so much time to waste.. haha Anyway, i really can't wait for all the upcoming events! So gonna have fun every single day. I'm just too bored at home. There is really very limited things to do at home. All i could do was to watch drama.. speaking of drama, i'm catching the ongoing korea drama - The Heirs. It's awesome, i love it so much. Can't wait for the upcoming episodes. In case you don't know what is it about, here's a short summary : so basically, this drama is a teenage romance drama, revolving around a poor but hardworking girl who hopelessly fall in love with a rich and handsome guy. Many things happen along the way.. Okay that's it, i shall not be a spoiler. If you are interested, go watch it. Though, i really recommand everyone to watch it! Haha
Okay, so today i've been watching my drama and also baking ice cream cake for my mom's birthday tomorrow! It's the first time i'm baking it on my own. Anyway, i can't wait for tmr because i've been lazing at home for only 4 days since my exams ended and i really can't stand it.. so tomorrow, i'll be sure to enjoy myself and not forgetting eating GOOD food. Heheh.
I'll be having as much fun as possible so everyone should do the same! For those who took the o's, congrates! It's over! Enjoy everyday that you have before the results are out. At the same time, take care of your health since the weather have not been consistent. This is it, goodbye!

Shop madness

Hey guys! It's been a while since i last blogged.
Everyone should be having a good holiday, i guess? So today, i'll just blog about something simple, something all girls (maybe some?) should like, which is.. SHOPPING! Yay! I seriously go crazy whenever i shop because the feeling i get when i want a piece of something so much but i don't have enough to pay for it. So I'll always bring a bit more money whenever i go out to shop so that i can get anything i like, haha. I'm especially in love with trendy stuffs like ombre shorts, crop top, tanks, jumpers.. etc. (Urgh, i seriously got to maintain.) Everytime I walk pass those shops, going through the rows of clothes, i just feel like buying them all! There are just so many things that i like and the worst thing is i can't get enough of it and i ended up getting more and more.. So these few days, i've been going out to places like Bugis and Jurong, not forgetting the new shopping mall, JEM. It's really huge and complicated, no joke. I almost lost way but partly because of the crowd. Once i reached there and saw the sales going on in H&M, i was totally elated but i didn't manage to get anything because i was restricted. After that, i went to jcube and bought some nice pieces of clothings from Miyoc! So it was not too bad afterall.. ^^

I swear, i'm totally in love with the floral top! The prints are lovely and beautiful, so glad that i've chosen this and i think it was the last piece. Of course the maroon polka dots crop too! The clothes are so nice and comfortable.

And this was from bugis! So in love with the pastel crop and shorts! Not forgetting the lovely pink sneakers! I'm so glad that i didn't choose the wrong one.. i was struggling to choose between this and a pair of boots. Luckily, i chose this and i didn't regret my choice. Totally satisfied with what i bought this few days..

 

Just an overview of what i've bought recently. Haha, such a happy girl now.. with all these new clothes, i'm getting closer to my plan on filling up the empty spaces of my cupboard.
